Minimum Education/Training/Experience
-Current RN in the state of Texas.
-Have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year of providing long term care services in a facility.
-Completed a course that focused on teaching adult students or have experience in teaching adult students or surpervising nurse.

None
Minimum Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge and skills to collaborate with Texas Department of Human and Health Services to ensure compliance of CNA program.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge and skills to evalute the NATCEP in accordance with adopted curricula and approved procedures.
Licensing/Certification Requirements
Current and unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Texas.
Job Duties
-Verifying and documenting state board exam applications for CNA candidates and assist with exam scheduling after each cohort completion.
-Verify program completion for each student in the CNA program after each cohort completion.
-Direct and evaluate the NATCEP in accordance with adopted curricula and approved procedures quarterly.
-Provide feedback associated with CNA pass rates quarterly.
-Performing training or having general supervision of the program instructors and supplemental trainers quarterly.
-Provide counsel/guidance to students when there is a need.
