Geography and Institute for the Environment & Sustainability: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach in Geography and Institute for the Environment & Sustainability; advise students; provide service to the institution. Research and teaching expertise in Sustainability and GIS/Geospatial Applications to teach introductory GIS courses. Courses focus on GIS and Geospatial fundamentals with the use of ESRI’s ArcPro and open-source geospatial software such as QGIS. Candidate must also be able to teach Introduction to Environment and Sustainability including basic principles and concepts of environmental sustainability and case studies that can feature the candidate’s expertise. Successful candidate will teach multiple sections of 3 separate courses. Total course load of 4 courses (2 course preps) each semester.

Required: Ph.D. in Geography or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s or ABD in Geography or closely related field for appointment as Instructor. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
