Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Nephrology of the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 504433), to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with a strong background in immunology, biochemistry or related fields, and experience in handling laboratory animals. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with high motivation. Those with a good publication record would have advantage.

The appointee will work in the field of renal research led by Professor Sydney CW Tang and participate in research projects encompassing the realm of kidney inflammation and fibrosis. The focus of research is to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of different forms of chronic kidney disease in translational medicine.
