Position Summary:
The incumbent serves as a lead utility worker within the Facilities Services Department at Regional campuses/centers. Plan, direct, and coordinate operations and functionalities of facilities and buildings.


Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.


Minimum Experience:
Three years of related work experience is required.


Minimum Licensure and Certification:
Valid driver’s license is required.

Job Functions:
Overall responsibility to ensure preventative and timely maintenance inspections on facility’s equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other systems and completes repairs. Serves as repair liaison.
Performs custodial duties for assigned facilities, including routine maintenance, inspections, general upkeep, and special cleaning requests as assigned.
Perform proper maintenance and treatment of University facilities and ground zones. Ensuring that areas are being maintained to required standards at all times.
Performs duties of Inventory Control Specialist.
Maintains required records and ensures compliance with regulations.
Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University by providing excellent customer service and completing all other duties as assigned. This position will serve as the primary on-call position.
