VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN GENDER & SEXUALITY STUDIES

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, The Program in Gender & Sexuality Studies invites applications for a one-year visiting appointment beginning September 1, 2021 at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for a specialist in Black feminisms. We are particularly interested in a scholar whose work &/or teaching in this area also intersects with sexuality studies. The successful candidate will teach 6 courses, 2 courses each in fall, winter and spring quarters, including an upper-division seminar on “Black Feminist Theory.” The remaining courses include seminar courses in their areas of expertise. PhD required, with work in women’s, gender &/or sexuality studies or related fields.
