Lecturer of Mass Media and Strategic Communication
The Department of Mass Media and Strategic Communication at The University of Tennessee at Martin has a one-year appointment for a lecturer to primarily teach Public Relations courses, beginning August 1, 2021. Social media SEO or digital content knowledge is preferred. The ability to teach public speaking is desired and requires a minimum of 18 graduate hours in speech communication or communication studies. A Ph.D. (ABD considered) is preferred in public relations, strategic communication or mass communication with an emphasis in public relations. Applicants with a master’s degree in those disciplines will also be considered. Salary is negotiable.
