Assistant Professor - Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology (75995)

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a pediatric hematologist-oncologist at the Assistant Professor level to pursue a tenure track career in the Division of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology. This position is for a translational research clinician/scientist to participate in our immunotherapy program. The candidate will have primarily research assignment with some clinical care focused on patients with brain tumors, sarcomas, and patients undergoing bone marrow transplant.

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics Hematology & Oncology and completed a three-year Pediatrics Hematology & Oncology fellowship program. We are particularly interested in candidates with research interest immunotherapy. University of Florida has active and dynamic research programs in cancer immunotherapy and gene therapy along and with strong institutional support for translational research.

Applicants must have a M.D. degree or equivalent and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.

Preferred: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology and completed a 3-year Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology fellowship program and one-year BMT/Cellular therapy fellowship, special training in immunotherapy and sarcoma is desirable.
