The University of Maryland School of Social Work has an
exciting opportunity for an Admissions
The Admissions Recruiter is an
integral resource person for the School of Social Work admissions,
field, and teaching staff at both the Universities at Shady Grove
(USG) and Baltimore MSW program locations. This
position will fulfill a vital role towards serving the USG
prospective/current student community, faculty, field students, and
reaching the recruitment goals of the School’s strategic
plan. This position requires access to reliable
transportation for travel up to two (2) days a week.

Associate Dean for Admissions and Enrollment.
- Plans and coordinates marketing and e-communications using
social media & broadcast emailing.
- Builds relationships with institutional partners whose
undergraduates or workforce is suited for the MSW program.
- Assists prospective applicants with admissions inquires &

- Reviews admission applications during the fall and spring
- Maintains database tracking of communications with prospective

- Coordinates recruitment events/services at both the USG and

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
or a related field. Master of Social Work is preferred.
One (1) year of experience in
recruitment, marketing, admissions, student enrollment, or related
