Position Summary:
The Department of Languages, Cultures, & Humanities at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky is accepting candidate-pool applications for adjunct faculty to teach 1 to 3 Spanish language courses on a semester-by-semester basis as determined by enrollment availability. Courses possibly offered include: SPA 101 and SPA 102, based on demand.

PhD preferred; Masters with minimum 18 graduate credit-hours in Spanish required. Degree(s) at time of appointment must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited institution and/or a recognized international university. Appropriate proficiency in oral and written English required.

The number of courses offered, one to three maximum, will vary on availability by demand. Minimum Qualifications:
Native or near-native speaker of Spanish language is required. PhD preferred; Masters degree with minimum 18 graduate credit-hours in the target language required. Degree(s) at time of appointment must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited institution and/or a recognized international university. Appropriate proficiency in oral and written English required.
