Title Mail Center Assistant Posting Number C00272JP Department Campus Services Job Summary

The Mail Center assistant is responsible for providing assistance in many Mail Center operations, including, but not limited to the following: student package processing, service counter functions (e.g., package retrieval, FAX services, stamp sales, and UPS & USPS shipping services). This position is not benefits eligible and works hours as needed.

Education/Skills Requirements

High School education or equivalent. Must be well organized with good hand/eye coordination and posses excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Proven track record for providing superior customer service in a fast-paced environment preferred. Working knowledge of USPS and UPS rules, rates and regulations would be helpful.

Standard Work Days and Hours

15 – 20 hours/week, work hours will vary within 8-5, M-F.
