Position Summary:

The Badger Athletic Performance lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is searching for a new colleague to join our program, which aims to improve injury prevention and management strategies. We collect and analyze sports performance variables that are accessible to coaches and medical staff affiliated with the University of Wisconsin - Division of Athletics. Degree and Area of Specialization:

B.S. degree in kinesiology, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, biology or similar required

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Prior experience working in a research lab environment with human subjects required

Additional Information:

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to function in a health care setting.
Able to work independently in the performance of the position requirements.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power Point and similar software.
Preference given to those with statistical, programing, and/or REDCap experience.
Schedule flexibility preferred.

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial Caregiver Check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and then every four years.
