The Distance Education Dean of Environmental Conservation and Research will have an entrepreneurial spirit to lead the growth and continued development of Distance Education programming, research opportunities, and revenue in the area of environmental sciences, regionally, nationally and globally. This position will oversee the Master’s in Sustainable Natural Resource Management, Master’s in Environmental GIScience, and the BS in Wildlife Conservation, along with new environmental science offerings, micro-credentials, signature courses, and immersive experiences as they relate to environmental conservation. The Dean will also be responsible for leading faculty research efforts, integrity, and grant-writing efforts across the Distance Education SEBU.
The Dean of Environmental Conservation and Research is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and communication, advancing the program’s academic agenda, managing and building the program's fiscal resources, and representing the programs effectively and collaboratively within the Distance Education Sustainable Education Business Unit (SEBU). This position works closely with the Distance Education Director of Enrollment Management and the Dean of Undergraduate Programs.
