The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Texas at Arlington College of Education invites applications to a 12-month non-tenure track position for a Visiting Assistant Professor and Principal Program Coordinator for the online MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies – Principal Certification program. Successful candidates will teach graduate-level courses; facilitate student/candidate supervision, program reporting and compliance processes, assessment preparation and approvals, and admissions; and provide service to the department, college, and university.

Required qualifications for appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator include an earned doctorate by August 2021 in Educational Leadership or Education Administration, teaching certification in K-12; a minimum of three years as a K-12 principal; and strong oral and written communication skills. A background in using Canvas and technology applications is preferred.  Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in online environments, organization of data, maintaining systems and processes for student admissions and certification attainment, an understanding of the structures of schools and systems, and a commitment to developing collaborative relationships.
