The Mathematics Department at Carthage College is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Professor in Mathematics starting Fall 2021. The position will be a multi-year renewable contract. The individual will be expected to teach undergraduate Mathematics courses, both required and elective.

Job Description: The candidate must be able to teach elementary statistics, and have a desire to teach other general education mathematics courses. Higher level course may be added to the successful candidate’s load in the future. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics, and a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and supporting a diverse student population.
