Gettysburg College is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions/Admissions Communications Manager to join a high performing admissions team.  This position reports to the Dean of Admissions and manages all aspects of a comprehensive admissions communications program. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the VP for Enrollment & Educational Services and the Dean of Admissions on developing the strategic direction for the admissions communications program; implementing the admissions communications plan; serving as the liaison to the Communications & Marketing department; leading the admissions communications team, and developing expertise in Slate which is the CRM used by the admissions office. Some admissions duties will be expected. 

 

Position requirements are as follows:  a Bachelor's degree with at least four years of demonstrated experience working as a professional in the college admissions or communications fields, and a valid United States driver's license.  The ideal candidate would have excellent marketing and communications skills; experience implementing a communications plan using a CRM, and an appreciation of and experience with best practices in social media, data management and reporting. Admissions communications experience and a knowledge of Slate is highly desirable. Excellent demonstrated abilities to meet deadlines and work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse group of people in a dynamic environment is expected.
