DePaul University Occupational Therapy Program invites applications for a 10-month tenure track faculty position to begin January, 2022. We seek an innovative and energetic person with vision that can contribute to our developing program, anticipated to begin in the Fall of 2022.   The program is located in the heart of Chicago at the Lincoln Park campus.

The successful candidate will be passionate about and eager to contribute to our community engaged and occupation focused curriculum. Responsibilities include teaching, student advising, research, and service to the department and university. Experience teaching and/or practicing in the area of Mental Health, Occupational Science, and/or Evidence Based Practice is preferred.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

A degree in Occupational Therapy;

A Master’s Degree;

Licensure, or eligible for licensure, in Illinois.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A Research or Clinical Doctorate Degree;

Experience teaching or practicing in Mental Health, Occupational Science, and/or Evidence Based Practice;

A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of occupational therapy;

College or graduate level teaching experience.
