Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities
The VCU School of Education is seeking applications for a full-time project coordinator. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct IRB submissions and modifications; data collection and management; observational coding; qualitative interviewing, management of data staff; and scholarly presentations and publications.
Minimum Hiring Standards
-An undergraduate degree in psychology, education, or related field
-Strong attention to detail
-Experience working with data and statistical databases (REDCap, SPSS, SAS )
-Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term projects
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work autonomously and within the structure of a large research team
-A demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU
Preferred Hiring Standards
-Spanish language proficiency
