Job Description:

TRIO-Student Support Services provides an array of academic support services to low-income, first-generation, and disabled college students.

The Program has a need for an Interim TRIO Project Coordinator who will be responsible for conducting the following activities within TRIO regulations and college policies:

  • Recruiting, identifying, and selecting eligible program participants;
  • Working collaboratively with relevant campus departments; presenting about TRIO during open houses and other campus events;
  • Advising and mentoring program participants;
  • Maintain updated student data, including documentation of all student interactions, in student record system.



Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • experience working with college students;
  • self-directed.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with academic support for disadvantaged students at the college level;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • public speaking/teaching experience;
  • creative problem solving;
  • Experience with Banner, DegreeWorks, Blumen software.



Additional Information:

This is a part-time, non-benefited temporary position, running through August 28, 2021. 20 hours/week with a weekly salary of $403.85.
