As a member of the UNB executive team and reporting to the President & Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-President, Advancement brings passionate leadership and sage advice in the areas of strategic partnerships, development & donor relations, and alumni affairs.  Along with other executive colleagues, this person is a key ambassador and contributor in achieving the goals set out in the University’s strategic plan. This Vice-President will inspire a culture of philanthropy and be the centre point in creating opportunities, partnerships, donor support, and alumni engagement that will advance UNB in the years to come. 

The ideal candidate has a university degree combined with deep leadership experience delivering on impactful partnership and philanthropic goals. Their experience has provided them with an appreciation of higher education and/or a related complex multi-stakeholder environment. They are a strategic executive with a record of taking organizations to new levels by leveraging networks and creatively bringing various groups together to generate project/institutional support through philanthropy and mutually beneficial partnerships. Known for their ability to lead high performing teams, they have knowledge of fundraising and have had success delivering major gifts or significant initiatives. This person is an inclusive and authentic leader, comfortable working with and building diverse teams, an innovative and collaborative trailblazer, trusted partner and relationship builder, a brilliant communicator and someone who will be passionate about all things UNB.
