Job Description

Senior Associate Director of Recruitment, Undergraduate Admissions-Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Senior Associate Director of Recruitment plays a critical senior level leadership role within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, co-managing a talented staff of assistant directors who plan, implement and administer programs and initiatives designed to target, recruit, admit, and retain students in undergraduate degree programs. In collaboration with a team of associate directors, oversees application processing, data collection, management and administrative functions for the unit.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent experience and extensive service in the college admissions field; strong communication skills; supervisory experience; experience in a public higher education setting; experience working with diverse populations; a commitment to increasing underrepresented student enrollment; knowledge and experience with international students and evaluation of their application credentials. Must be attentive to detail, well organized, able to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure. Note: Must be willing to work a schedule that includes frequent evenings, weekends, holidays and out of town travel. A valid driver's license is required. Must also be able to lift at least 40 pounds independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the land grant mission; experience with Banner; experience with international students, and experience working in a paperless environment.
