Elementary Education Temporary Faculty Position

The Department of Elementary, Middle Level, Library and Learning Technologies invites applicants for a full-time, temporary faculty position for the 2021-2022 academic year. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: A Master's and Bachelor's degree in education, a minimum of five years classroom teaching experience in grades PreK-6, and elementary education certification. A successful interview and demonstration lesson will be required. Preferred: An earned doctorate, experience supervising field experiences, experience in higher education teaching methods courses in social studies and other elementary areas such as children's literature, math, and science, experience working with ELL students, ELL certification, and experience working with diverse populations.
