The University of Akron, Department of Nursing-Wayne Campus seeks
innovative and creative applicants for the position of Coordinator,
Nursing-Wayne Campus. This position will coordinate and oversee the
nursing program on the Wayne Campus.
Responsibilities:
Duties include teaching, recruitment, advising, and
administration. Communication and collaboration with personnel at
Wayne and Akron campuses are essential. Reports directly to
the Director of the School of Nursing. Assignments originate from
the Director of the School of Nursing.
Required Qualifications:
Holds at least an MSN from an accredited program; holds an
unencumbered license in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse;
experience with administrative activities; ability to work
independently and collaboratively; excellent organizational skills;
and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3)
years’ experience in an academic nursing setting and prior teaching
experience; experience with student advising. Leadership and
management skills; experience with recruitment; and Advanced
Practice Nursing credentials.

Salary:
The salary range for this position starts
at $70,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience
and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation and
