Manage all Stadium Catering, including Private Suites, Executive Club Lounge, Club 44, Driver Village Lounge, as well as assist with other catered events held in other University facilities. Coordinate and plan multiple annual events held in the Dome with Faculty, Staff, Alumni, Enrollment, Students Groups, external corporate clients and guests. Event size range from 10-7,000 people. Develop, train, schedule and monitor exempt, non-exempt staff, students and temporary staff on customer service and serving techniques, related to Carrier Dome Catering. Work with catering staff to develop regular catering menu offerings. Maintain records and photos of campus events for use as a marketing tool.

Qualifications

Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management and/or 3 years of related experience., NYS Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

Managing all Stadium Catering operations, including Private Suites, Executive Club Lounge, Club 44, Driver Village Lounge as well as assist with other catered events held in other University facilities. Coordinate and plan multiple annual events held in the Dome with Faculty, Staff, Alumni, Enrollment, Students Groups, external corporate clients and guests. Event size range from 10-5,000 people.

Serve as menu, service and event planning consultant for catered events held in the Carrier Dome. Work closely with the Special Events Office, Chancellors Office, Advancement Office, Alumni Office, Trustees Office, Enrollment and Athletics Department on all special events and training tables.

Develop, train, schedule and monitor exempt, non-exempt staff, students and temporary staff on customer service and serving techniques, related to Carrier Dome Catering. Staff consists of 2 exempt, 4 bargaining unit and 250 student and temporary staff members (temporary staff includes bargaining unit staff working extra hours).

Market and implement catering menu used by corporate clients and University departments on campus. Develop, monitor and enforce all University Catering policies and procedures.

Research and develop service techniques to maintain industry trends and meet the unique needs of the University. Motive staff to learn new techniques for customer satisfaction. Work with catering staff to develop regular catering menu offerings. Maintain records and photos of campus events for use as a marking tool.
