Job Description
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott, Arizona campus is looking to hire a Financial Aid Operations Coordinator to support the Financial Aid Department. Embry-Riddle's Prescott Campus is respected worldwide for cutting-edge instruction and training for tomorrow’s aviation, aerospace, security and intelligence leaders. Prescott is a mile-high city and its climate reflects seasonable weather excellent for flying. Daytime averages are 80°F in the summer and 45°F in the winter. At 5,000 ft. above sea level, it boasts a mild climate, clean air, pristine wilderness areas, and nearby national forests. The university is a small, private, residential university in the mountains of Arizona with approximately 3,500 students. Staff/faculty/student interaction is highly valued and is a central theme of our campus. It is located 100 miles north of Phoenix and 120 miles south of the Grand Canyon.
The Financial Aid Operations Coordinator's primary focus lays in performing global financial aid processing using dedicated software systems. Additionally, the position requires the ability to extract data from those systems for reporting to various entities within the Enrollment Management Department as well as the University. Systems include but are not limited to Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, data warehouse systems such as Oracle OBIEE, as well as some external systems.
This position is responsible for providing system support to the Financial Aid Office and Campus Veterans Office with respect to the day-to-day operations of these offices. This position also supports the Campus Veterans Affairs Office with data collection and reporting, application processing, enrollment review and certification, reporting and tracking requirements, and annual preparation for audits conducted by VA State Approving Agency/VA Regional Office.

Required skills, knowledge, abilities:
Business intelligence knowledge, report writing capabilities, familiarity in working with and querying information from a variety of database systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server in an end-user level analytical ability. Proficiency with BI intelligence systems such as OBIEE, Microsoft Power BI tools, Microsoft Excel. Moderate efficiency with other common office related software suites such as Microsoft Word.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree. Area of study: Business or similar
field of study.
