Position Function

In collaboration with the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute, the Associate Program Director will plan, coordinate, and execute all activities related to internal programs of the Institute.

The Associate Program Director will organize and support all internal programs for the Institute and foster and maintain all key relationships important to those programs. This requires a highly organized individual with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; provide detailed, clear and proactive communications; demonstrate proficiency in project management and execution. A high level of discretion and ability to balance and make decisions involving strategic relationships with key constituents; willingness to travel and work with student projects; and willingness to attend various training sessions and workshops to build skillsets and acquire certifications.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum Experience

At least five years of experience fostering professional relationships and five
years of project management or event planning.

Minimum Other

Strong organizational, management and interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as part of an organization without direct daily supervision; ability to work as a team member in a complex institution.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

Experience in higher education and relationship management

Preferred Other

Experience in entrepreneurship, training, and/or business.
