Scope of Job:
The Department of Health and Biomedical Sciences at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) has the need to hire non-tenure track, One-Year Lecturers to teach in its B.S. in BMED (Biomedical Sciences) program. responsibility (100%) is delivering quality instruction in the program. UTRGV faculty will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and to advancing the university, college, and program missions and are committed to UTRGV's strategic plan, vision, mission, values and core priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:
The qualifications to be considered as a One Year Lecturer is at least a master’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field of study from an accredited institution or a terminal degree in medicine or health profession.


Discipline Specific Required Qualifications:
Responsibilities include commitment to outstanding teaching in the Biomedicine Program, specifically in anatomy & physiology, organ system courses and biomedical courses (both foundational and advanced).
