About the Opportunity:
The Communication Studies Department at Northeastern University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Teaching Associate teaching classes on Public Speaking and Business and Professional Speaking with the possibility of additional courses such as Advocacy Writing, Argumentation Theory, Communication and Gender, Communication Criticism, Communication Theory, Elements of Debate, Global and Intercultural Communication, Group Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Interviewing, Persuasion and Rhetoric, Principles of Organizational Communication, Research Methods, Social Movement Communication, Sports Communication, and Visual Communication.

Responsibilities:
The teaching load is 3 classes per semester with the possibility of summer classes for extra compensation.

Qualifications:
Must have teaching experience at the college level and a PhD in Communication Studies or a related field prior to the start of the appointment. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal for two additional years. The starting date is August 23, 2021.
