Senior Associate Director for Employer Engagement
The Center for Career Excellence at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a Senior Associate Director for Employer Engagement position. The Senior Associate Director reports to the Director and works with Career Excellence colleagues and key University partners to establish an Employer Engagement & Recruitment Program to significantly increase the number of employers with quality job, internship, and experiential opportunities seeking St. Lawrence student candidates. The Senior Associate Director is responsible for overall management of the Employer Engagement & Recruitment Programs; designs and implements employer outreach campaigns and proactive engagement strategies to attract a variety of employers; creates and stewards long-term employer partnerships; grows operations and programs to assist employers in hiring diverse students from a range of backgrounds, majors, and interests. The Senior Associate Director strategically engages employers with opportunities supportive of the identities, experiences, and goals of our students; facilitates recruitment efforts through virtual and on-campus methods; and hosts employers visiting campus. The Senior Associate Director supervises the Assistant Director of Employer Engagement, coordinates the Vilas Scholar Program, and teaches in the Career Classes as needed.
