Westmoreland County Community College is looking to fill a full time Director Enrollment Services/Registrar position for the Youngwood, PA Campus.  

The Director, Enrollment Services/Registrar oversees the front end of the student life cycle through recruitment and admissions and supports all aspects of the student life cycle as the college registrar. The director develops, plans, implements, and oversees all outreach and student record initiatives including recruitment, and college-wide policies are applied to incoming students and their records. The Director also serves as the college Registrar.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in higher education, administration, nonprofit administration, business administration or related degree required; Five to seven years of related experience in enrollment services, recruitment, admissions, records and registration, or related field required; Prior supervisory and management experience in related field required; Experience working with and supervising employees under labor contracts preferred; Experience in data research, analysis, and reporting required; Financial aid experience preferred; Related work experience in higher education preferred; Prior work performance must have met or exceeded appropriate work standards in current and prior positions; PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Record Clearance at employee's expense. Basic Employment Verification, National Criminal Database Search, and Five-Panel Drug Screen at College's expense.

Essential Functions of the position:

Serves as the official authorized keeper of the College’s student records; Develops, implements, and assesses a strategic and data driven recruitment plan in collaboration with the Vice President of Enrollment Management and the recruitment team; Collects, records, maintains and reports student records within FERPA guidelines. This includes the grades, all registration data, transcripts, and data for audits; Supervises the coordination, evaluation and certification of all graduation applications; Coordinate campus-wide efforts to maximize the effectiveness of the Student Information System; In collaboration with the Director of Athletics, develop, implements, and evaluates an athletic recruitment strategy; Oversees the Residency Petition process; Serves as the College’s Principle Designated School Official – International Students (PDSO); Organizes and administers the admissions application process, including selective admissions programs, non-credit programs, and college in the high school; Organizes and administers all transfer credit and credit for prior learning policies; Maintains comprehensive and current knowledge of the College curriculum; provides consultation and resource support to faculty, managers, and staff in regard to regulation and policy; monitors and advises on compliance of curriculum to statutory and policy standards and regulations; Prepare and submit the appropriate sections of the college catalog and schedule of classes, and provide technical expertise and information to administrators, faculty and students, and advise academic personnel on issues related to course offerings and scheduling; The approximate value of the benefit package is $35,000 and includes the following:
