Position Summary:

Reporting to the Program Director, the student services coordinator will coordinate and execute the development and implementation of the administrative activities of graduate degree programs and certificates. Performs activities which may include: recruitment, admissions, new student orientation, academic advising, monitoring of progress towards the degree, course and enrollment management, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, funding, course and/or program assessment, and academic program review.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors degree required

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required:
-2 years experience in at least one of the following:
Higher education admissions or enrollment management
Academic advising

-Experience using Excel or Customer Relationship Management software to compile, summarize, and analyze data

Preferred:
-Previous experience in advising graduate students
-Knowledge of the student lifecycle from inquiry to alumni
-High standard of customer service excellence
-Knowledge of systems including Student Information System (SIS), Applicant Review, Salesforce, online Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas), Web Conferencing applications (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) document management systems (e.g. Box, Google docs) and spreadsheet software.
