Job Summary

The Fabrication department in Facilities is currently accepting applications for a Sign Tech I/II. This position is responsible for performing duties related to the installation, removal, and maintenance of signs on university property.

Essential Functions

1. Installs and removes street signs on University streets and roads.
2. Installs and maintains street and parking lot markings.
3. Cleans and maintains University property and equipment.
4. Maintains inventory and orders materials.
5. Maintains records related to work performed and materials ordered.
6. Coordinates assignment and recordkeeping of room numbers.
7. May design signs for University property using computer programs
