Job Summary
The web content administrator is responsible for managing the creation, implementation, and flow of all non‐sports web content. This position oversees special segments of the Lindenwood website and integration of external sources. Additionally, this position supports dissemination of internal communications via regularly scheduled and special-case emails to University employees.

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Provides ongoing navigational improvements, usability testing, search engine optimization, and analysis of user analytics to promote the University
- Assists in determining the University’s priorities for new page development, revisions, and functionality
- Manages the creation, implementation, and flow of all non-sports web content and internal email communications and email marketing initiatives
- Manages specialized pages such as the alumni website and strategic plan initiative pages
- Supports recruitment and improves communications and relationships between the institution and internal/external stakeholders
- Researches and implements best methods to publish content to the Internet
- Ensures that Lindenwood’s web content upholds University standards, branding, and values
Service Excellence
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with faculty, staff, and colleagues
- Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
- Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values – excellence, dedication, integrity, creativity, and teamwork
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
- Acts as contact for all internal stakeholders wishing to create or revise web content and communicates their needs to the webmaster
- Collaborates with the webmaster on content creation, navigational strategies, and the addition of web-based user interfaces
- Collaborates to ensure branding is consistent across email communications, website, and other digital media; works with social media team on best placement
- Collaborates with Advancement and Communications on The Digest (weekly email communication to employees)
Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 year’s relevant work experience
- Master’s degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Excellent editorial, verbal, and computer graphics skills
- Ability to use good judgment, think critically, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and email marketing systems such as Constant Contact
- Basic knowledge of HTM, HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, and PHP
- Knowledge of BigTree content management system (CMS)
