The Department of Pharmacy Practice within Chapman University
School of Pharmacy (CUSP) seeks applicants for a faculty Lecturer
position to teach a pharmacy law and ethics course effective August
2021. This position reports to the Department Chair of Pharmacy
Practice.

Located on the Chapman University Rinker Health Sciences Campus in
Irvine, California, CUSP engages students in science-based,

Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy degree and current California pharmacist licensure are required. Preferred qualifications include post-doctoral residency training in community practice or substantial experience in community pharmacy, a law degree or substantial experience in pharmacy compliance. Board certification is highly desirable. Record of or potential for accomplishment in teaching. Active engagement in professional organizations is desirable.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
1. Develop, coordinate and deliver onsite a Pharmacy Law and Ethics
course in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program as assigned by the
Department Chair.
2. Provide office hours for students
3. Participate in assessment activities as requested by the
Associate Dean for Assessment and Accreditation
4. Work collaboratively with the Academic Affairs Committee and the
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for syllabus approval and
course scheduling
5. Participate in all trainings required by the School or
University
This is a limited term position for the Fall of 2021 and not
subject to automatic renewal.
