If you would like to be a part of a professional, collaborative team devoted to making a significant and lasting impact on the lives of young computer scientists and engineers, the ECCS Department at Ohio Northern University invites you to apply for a visiting faculty position to begin August 16, 2021. Candidates should be committed to advancing the knowledge and practice of computing pedagogy. Candidates will join faculty in a new, state-of-the-art 105,000 sq. ft. building designed to allow more opportunities for high-impact learning. ONU is part of the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN) and is committed to instilling the entrepreneurial mindset in our undergraduate computer science and engineering students. It is expected that as the College of Engineering continues to grow, additional tenure-track positions in the department will be created.

Principle Responsibilities: Teaching of existing courses within the computer science program is expected.

Required Skills: The applicant must be committed to teaching excellence in undergraduate computer science education and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates with a specialty within all areas of computer science are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD candidates in Computer Science (ABD) or a Master’s degree in Computer Science with industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science. Industry experience, teaching experience, and professional certifications
