Job Description

Duties will include teaching information technology (IT)-related classes associated with the accounting profession at the graduate and undergraduate level. These will include an information systems security and assurance course, as well as other courses related to information systems and accounting. The teaching load will be 9 credit hours per semester. Other duties may include participation in departmental committees, and activities including advising and mentoring students as assigned by the department head. Occasional travel may be required to attend professional meetings and conferences.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in accounting or in an information technology (IT)-related field; professional accounting or IT job-related experience; and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in Accounting or IT-related field; Professional certification (e.g. CISA, CPA, or CMA,).
