Salary: $937.50 per Week

MVCC Dormitory Corporation is seeking to fill a full-time academic year position in our Residence Life Department . The Resident Director - Academic Support is a member of the administrative team responsible for providing overall daily management and leadership for all on-campus housing services. The Resident Director creates and promotes a living-learning environment that fosters educational, social and cultural responsibility and development and has a special focus on providing academic support and programming to the residents.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Reside on-campus.
• Share responsibility for supervision, training and evaluation of student RA staff.
• Alternate emergency coverage (weekday/weekend; 24 hour) for Residence Halls.
• MVCC Residence Halls are operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. Resident Director will assist in implementing COVID-19 protocols.

Qualifications:


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year experience in Residence Life or a closely related Student Affairs area, as a student leader (i.e. RA) or professional, is required. Must be able to reside on-campus is a provided apartment.
