JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Indianapolis is accepting applications for an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. This is a full-time, exempt staff role. The Assistant Men’s Soccer coach serves under the direct leadership of the Head Men’s Soccer coach and coordinates the reserve soccer team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the reserve soccer team
  • Assist the head coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition
  • Assist in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes
  • Provide guidance and assistance to student-athletes on a range of personal issues, as required
  • Assist the head coach with the student-athlete academic success
  • Assist head coach will all additional duties as assigned
  • Maintain compliance of all University of Indianapolis, NCAA DII, and GLVC policy and procedures


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of three years coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level is required
  • This position requires a clean or acceptable driving record
