Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of a technology-based strategy to attract diverse talent for staff positions.
This individual contributor position is also responsible for providing full recruiting support to supervisors with hard-to-fill staff positions to include, screening, coordinating interviews and planning job fairs and other recruitment activities. Additionally, the coordinator will also write and develop recruitment materials. The coordinator will work to build and maintain a working relationship with TCC hiring supervisors and external organizations to develop a pipeline of candidate for various positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performance Requirements
• Develop, implement and coordinate recruitment plans for hard-to-fill staff positions
• Serve as a consultant to hiring supervisors in filling staff positions
• Provide resources and tools for managing an effective search
• Manage and hire for frequently requested positions (i.e. part time staff)
• Host regular recruitment and hiring events in support of hiring staff
• Conduct special searches using social media, recruitment websites and job boards to fill hard-to-fill positions
• Facilitate training and serves as a resource for best practices and procedures related to hiring, interviewing/screening, candidate management/selection and onboarding
• Partner with other members of the HR team to create and update job descriptions
• Collect and analyze data and perform on-going evaluations to determine the effectiveness of recruitment
• Ensure departmental compliance with human resource policies, procedures and practices
• Provide technical support to hiring supervisors
• Serve on committees or search teams

• Uses all available resources to develop a solution and follows through with the issue until it’s conclusion in a timely manner
• Promotes an inclusive and diverse workforce that proactively attracts diverse talent via outreach and networking; identifies areas for diversity reflective of the community

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Three (3) years of client/customer facing experience interacting with supervisors throughout the recruitment process
• One (1) year of full cycle recruitment experience including recruitment/talent acquisition consulting
• One (1) year of experience in applicant tracking, recruitment metrics, interview and selection, sourcing/internet mining and job board management

• Human Resources Certification (e.g. PHR, SHRM -CP, etc.)
