Miami Regionals - Hamilton Campus: Regional eLearning Interactive Media Specialist will collaborate with the E-Campus Leadership to advance the online student experience with the creation of high-quality interactive media; using data-driven best practices that promote online student engagement and retention.

Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Lead assign project by coordinating web, video, and interactive media project timelines and workflows using Miami identity and accessibility standards.
  • Produce excellent, high-quality digital experiences and assets that meet project goals and requirements.
  • Deploy design initiatives to increase traffic with E-Campus website and social media outlets utilizing SEO and analytics to assist in the cultivation of vibrant online communities.
  • Visually communicate the stories of online students, programs, and achievements through graphic/media promotion and recognition.
  • Lead all aspects of interactive media production from planning, creating actionable timelines, scheduling, staffing, supplies/equipment preparations to ensure high-quality and creative deliverables.
  • Conduct user testing and/or analytical research to advance initiatives.
  • Report on effectiveness of media initiatives utilizing data and analytics.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a closely related area or equivalent experience; Two (2) or more years’ experience in creating custom high-quality informational and/or educational interactive media (web, video, graphics, animations, advertisements, etc.); Demonstrated success in achieving interactive media goals from ideation to completion with measurable results; Proficiency in creating conceptual layouts in accordance with design principles (e.g., color, typography, image selection, visual communication etc.) for elements, and usability; Ability and willingness to learn new skills; adapt to new technology and work independently with minimal supervision; Ability to take initiative and prioritize work while advancing multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating technical information in terms understandable to diverse audiences; Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy; Proficiency in Google Tools, Microsoft Suite, Web-Based Apps, Mobile Technologies.  Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a master’s degree; Three (3) or more years’ experience in creating custom high-quality informational and/or promotional media (video, web, graphics, animations, etc) within a higher education institution; Utilization of project management software to manage creative projects and meet deadlines; Specialized web skills: advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, web development with SEO, HTML, CSS, Javascript according to Miami identity standards, xontent development with Section 508 and web accessibility compliance, conducting user testing and/or analytical research: understanding of UX/UI ; Specialized video skills: Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite: Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or After Effects for video editing and production, create and edit video for Web, email, applications, and social media, lead photography, video production, location visits, and other stages of the creative development or production process, experience using and training others on video production equipment and maintenance of the One Button Studio; Specialized instructional design skills: use media to produce interactive learning experiences that achieve learning outcomes, use of adult-learning pedagogy and andragogy in project design and implementation.
