Position Summary:

We are seeking a Researcher to join a busy and productive Gynecologic Oncology laboratory.

Two NIH-funded investigators (one MD and one Ph.D) run this laboratory and closely collaborate on a number of projects. Their expertise includes molecular biology, immunology, cellular metabolism and tumor microenvironment. Current projects include working with a mouse model for ovarian cancer, chemotherapy assays with cancer cell lines, immunohistochemistry, Western Blots, microscopy, centrifuge and flow cytometry. Ongoing projects are focused on the prevention and treatment of ovarian, uterine, cervical and vulvar cancer. This Researcher will be crucial to moving these research projects forward.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Required Education:
- Masters degree.

Preferred Education:
- Ph.D in the biological sciences or related field.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required Experience:
- Six (6) months of experience in a scientific research laboratory is required. Relevant undergraduate or internship experience is acceptable.
- The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Experience:
- One (1) or more year of experience in a scientific research laboratory.
- Experience with vertebrate animal research.
