Under the direction of the Customer Solutions Supervisor of the Bookstore, the floor supervisor will conduct day to day operations on the sales floor. The responsibilities of this position include customer service excellence by ensuring sales floor staff are attentive to customer needs and assigned daily tasks. Direct supervision of bookstore clerks and assisting in coordinating duties with floor staff. Collaboration with Financial Aid/Third Party/Athletics to ensure all methods of payment can be accepted at POS.
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business administration/marketing or equivalent work experience in marketing or business administration
Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse college community
Dependable, organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Three years of retail sales, purchasing, and supervisory experience
