Job Summary

This position works in support of the Program Director, Development to identify resources that enable the JCCC Foundation to achieve its mission. This position works in collaboration with all members of the staff as well as other departments to strategically cultivate and nurture relationships with constituents, ultimately moving those individuals to support JCCC financially through membership, charitable giving and event participation. The position works closely with other staff to assist in the development, coordination and execution of strategic development initiatives by using appropriate communication channels and successful events to engage existing, new and potential donors.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in a related field. Experience may substitute for degree.
  • Data-driven individual with attention to detail and commitment to accurate, clean data.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant professional experience in a similar position, responsible for high levels of data entry, database management and gift processing.
  • Experience using reporting tools to research and produce reports as requested
  • Experience accepting and recording donor gifts in similar not-for-profit organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and telephone manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT or comparable database tool
  • Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in higher education
