Job Summary
Tutor students in Anatomy & Human Physiology courses taught at Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assist students with computer software necessary for the courses, mentoring new tutors, working in outreach programs, and other duties as requested by the supervisor
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or any other related health science field with successful completion of Human Anatomy & Physiology, Histology, Genetics or other related courses
At least one year of tutoring/teaching experience
Good communication skills, including listening with understanding and patience
Ability to explain concepts in Anatomy & Physiology both orally and in written form in a one to one or small group setting
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of tutoring/teaching experience
