Clinical Nursing Instructor

The Department of Nursing of Jacksonville State University’s School of Health Professions and Wellness is seeking to hire a scholar for a Clinical Nursing Instructor.

The faculty member for Nursing is responsible for instructional work to facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, able and responsible members of society. This position exists to provide educational services to traditional and non-traditional students during the day or evening. Instructor may be required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus, off-campus, online courses and possible videoconferencing depending on need of location.

This position is for an Instructor in the Nursing department. The preferred applicant will have a master’s degree from a graduate institution of recognized standing or equivalent experience and professional recognition. A minimum of a masters degree is required for this position. The position has an anticipated start date of August 12, 2021.
