Qualifications:
OPS 566, Advanced Modeling (2 quarter units)

Second Half of Autumn Quarter. Meets on Saturdays: 11/14/20, 12/5/20, and 12/12/2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Online).

Also meets weeknights on Thursdays: 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (online),

This course teaches you to recognize and translate managerial decision scenarios into structured mathematical models and find optimal solutions using Excel solver. Upon completion of this hands-on interactive course, you will enhance your problem-solving capabilities and spreadsheet skills. Topics include linear programming, integer programming, and simulation.

Qualifications

- Ph.D. degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR

- A Master’s degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
