Position Description:
The Accounting and Finance Department is searching for a part-time instructor in accounting and finance for the academic year 2021-2022. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in accounting and finance in a traditional classroom format, remotely, or online. Course load will include three courses per semester for fall and spring semesters. Prior teaching or professional training experience is strongly preferred, with evidence of quality instruction.
In addition to teaching, responsibilities include holding office hours, providing career mentoring to students, attending monthly department and college meetings, and fully participating in departmental activities. Candidates must be available for day and evening classes.
Position Qualifications:
Requirements include a Masters in accounting, taxation, finance or business. Candidates must have current professional experience, substantial in terms of duration and level of responsibility, which is linked to the fields of accounting or finance. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA, CFA, CFP) is preferred. Daytime availability is required.
