Position Summary:

Provides technical expertise in a research, development, or scientific program. Designs, modifies, and adapts equipment to create unique systems in support of research, development. Position will be working with the McDermott and Eriksson groups in the solid-state qubit laboratories.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's Degree in physics, engineering, or related field required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years post degree professional experience working in an experimental laboratory setting is required.

Demonstrated knowledge in mechanical design, cryogenic engineering, and the construction, maintenance, and operation of cryogenic measurement platforms.

Preferred experience in commissioning, maintenance, and operation of millikelvin measurement systems; design and construction of experimental subassemblies to support semiconducting and superconducting qubit measurements; and construction, maintenance, and operation of vacuum deposition systems for the fabrication of semiconducting and superconducting integrated circuits.
