The Director of Facilities and Equipment plans, procures, and implements physical and fiscal requirements of facilities, equipment, and operation needs of the UTC Athletics department.
Duties include: plans and implements all game day equipment event activity- related requirements for the athletic department at on and off-campus sites- including participant and safety and risk management; coordinates the operations, activities and personnel of the equipment room, including the assistant director or manager of equipment and all student managers; plans, coordinates, acquisition, maintenance, safety and use of all equipment used by Athletics Department in compliance with all UT system, state, SoCon, NCAA and NOCSAE fiscal and physical policies and procedures; works with Athletics department leadership and the university business services personnel in all aspects of equipment and related purchases by the department; directs and supervises all aspects and services of the athletics equipment room; serve as Athletics representative with the campus-wide facilities committee; and hires, trains, supervises and provides fiscal oversight of all student managers.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; has or will have certification by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) within 12 months; 3 years of experience in Athletics Administration and related fields; and valid driver’s license.
