The Department of Physics at the University of Houston seeks to fill an associate or full professor position in experimental materials physics. The candidates with expertise in superconductivity, quantum electronic solids, and novel materials are encouraged to apply. The candidate must have a strong ongoing research program with a significant level of external funding. The candidate must demonstrate the commitment and potential for excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and in mentoring students in research. Effective communication skills are required.

Qualifications :

A minimum requirement for this position is a PhD in Physics or a related field.
