Lifeguard (PT)
Salary: $15.00 per hour
MVCC's Center for Corporate and Community Education (CCED) has an opening for a part-time Lifeguard . The shift is 8:00am - 12:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Successful candidates must be able to work this shift for a minimum of two months (early April until mid-June).
Key responsib ilities for this position include:
- Ensure the safety of our patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies;
- Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service;
- Communicate with other lifeguards, water safety instructors and supervisors;
- Be available to substitute for other staff members.
Required Qualifications:
Possess current lifeguarding, CPR-PR, FA and AED certifications.
Be available to work during the week (mornings and evenings) and weekends when necessary.
Be self-motivated with the ability to work without constant supervision
